Comment formatting and fields

  • I removed the avatar from the comments, since it’s just a place to leave messages for the wedding. It’s looking kinda ugly this way

    Is there any way to help it?

    How can i remove the “Website” and “Email” fields from the comments?
    How can i avoid having to approve every single comment? I want them to be posted as soon as someone submits them…

    try using filter.

    For example, to removw “website”, try adding the following snippet to ypur theme’s functions.php:

    add_filter('comment_form_default_fields', 'remove_url');
function remove_url($val) {
    $val['url'] = '';
    return $val;
}
