Ended, seems that someone added a comment on our demo site and it was reported as spam by WordPress but we didn’t saw this and exported the demo without removing this comment.

We just re-exported this starter site and everything should be fine now.
You can simply re-import the Blocksy News starter site or remove that comment.

I’m not sure what happened on your end but if you tell that your developer spent a lot of time – this means that you had a lot of spam, and most likely the spammers where targeting directly your website.

The case we had before and @aldebaronge also mentioned was with just a few spam comments that where exported by accident in one of the starter sites but we removed those comments and re-exported the starter site right after this was reported.

So I think your issue is a little bit different and doesn’t have nothing to do with the theme.
