Hi,

I tested today the jetpack-comment features. I logged in with one of my facebook accounts and wrote a review/comment. Jetpack automatically filled up the EMAIL+NAME+URL…

When tried to post my comment, I’ve got an error:

But even too long… — I have tried a few, including google.com — no success.

Only when I removed URL at all – then let me post my comment.

Please check it. Its a bug in the system.

The same error.
Facebook generates a very long url which is pasted in website form input.
Than user gets: Your url is too long validation error.
facebook url generated: https://www.facebook.com/app_scoped_user_id/YXNpZADpBWEYwSkhxMWkxMmVvcVhhWVlrOE0xTXhIMTJONk1vTFZArVmxDdzR5RkxhczhLUV8tTTBsRm1Kam42M19rbXltVUNqT2xweWJUSmZACZAk9tNUVWVnhIRmFaV0VFNTNXRDNzZAnBTSE5mUW5oQnUZD/

Please check it. Its a bug in the system.

We’re aware of this issue and our developers are working on a solution. It should be addressed in a future update.

Ran into this last night.
Made a solution for it which you can put in your themes functions.php
```
 /**
 * Social Login comment link overrides - comment_author_url exceeds the default value
 */
function extend_lengths_comment_field_social( $lengths ){
   global $wpdb;

   $lengths = array(
     'comment_author'       => 245,
     'comment_author_email' => 100,
     'comment_author_url'   => 250,
     'comment_content'      => 65525,
   );
 	return $lengths;
 }
add_filter( 'wp_get_comment_fields_max_lengths', 'extend_lengths_comment_field_social' );
```
That should circumvent the too long author_url for Facebook users.
+ giving you more control about other parameters.
