• Upgraded to v2.5 yesterday. Five blogs – all worked perfectly prior to upgrade.

All work OK now, except when I try to moderate comments in the admin panel. On the comments page, I get this (changing the paths a little for security reasons):

Warning: is_writable(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/hsphere/local/var/httpd/logs/php_error.log) is not within the allowed path(s): (/hsphere/local/home/xxxxxx/mydomain.com:/tmp:/var/tmp:/usr/local/lib/php) in /hsphere/local/home/xxxxx/mydomain.com/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 199

    I have already:

    – Deleted and re-uploaded the wp-admin directory (and all others).
    – Removed all plugins.

    Thoughts?

The more I look at this error, the stranger it looks. I’m no expert, but doesn’t the path for error.log look wrong?

In the first part “/hsphere/local/var/httpd/logs/php_error.log” – isn’t “var” a variable that should match the path in the second part of the message?
