Comment Moderation not working properly?

  • Hi everyone,

    When users with the ‘Subscribers’ role comment on my site, despite moderation being turned on, their comments do not go through the moderation process and get instantly output on to the site.
    However anonymous/non-registered comments do have to be moderated.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    In:
    Settings > Discussion >

    I have – Users must be registered and logged in to comment unchecked.
    Comment must be manually approved – checked.

    I have same issue. All users are subscribers. and despite moderation being turned on, their comments do not go through the moderation process and get instantly output on to the site. I also tested the keyword based moderation, and it’s not working for subscribers.
