    Hey Opa,

Kinda a low priority thing but….

I recently did modifications to my site and now I want to allow non-logged in users to comment with a minimum of fuss on my end. Was there a way to allow people to comment and then enter some kind of captcha thing to the comments so people have to perhaps go through one extra (optional of course) step to make a comment.

I imagine something like installing a Captcha plugin and then having WPPA recognize it and allow it to do it’s thing. Example:

    User is NOT logged in:

1: goes to photo and wants to make comment
2: makes comment (enters name and comment)
3: solves Captcha thingy and hits enter
4: Comment is approved and viewable by all

    User IS logged in:

1: no need for any of the above, just enters comment and it goes.

    Does this all make sense?

Thank you for any help Opa!

There is comment captcha in Table VII-D5
There is moderation dependant on login status in Table IV-F3

When logged in, the name is known and need not to be entered, so if i made VII-D5 a selection box like IV-F3, – so only not logged in users need to solve the captcha -, would that solve your issue?

Yes! That sounds right but I’ll repeat what I am hearing so you can tell if I am correct.

    – Keep WPPA’s built in captcha (which is great by the way!)
    – Change the tick box at VII-D5 into a drop down selection box like the one at IV-F3 (with the same options I am imagining – all users, logged out, no users)

Yes – that would be great. Then I could have only non-logged in people solve the captcha.

    Thank you!
