Comment notification emails is 2.6

    OK, I’ve searched and searched no one else seems to be having this problem in 2.6.

    I upgraded 2 days ago. Since then I’m getting no comment notifications.

    I am getting other emails from the system, errors and user profile changes, things like that. Just not posted comment notifications. It’s driving me CRAZY!!

    I’ve changed the email, reset the setting, even tried some older fixes for older versions.

    Funny thing, another blog, on the same server, upgraded at the same time, working fine!

    I’m TOTALLY stumped! Anyone have any suggestions? Files I should replace? Anything!?!?

    OK, I’m running out of ideas. PLEASE HELP!

    Here’s that I did….

    Changed the emails to match in my admin user and settings (trying different emails)
    Checked SPAM
    verified I’m reciving emails from other sources…. I’m even receiving error notification from the site
    I overwrote every file on the server

    I have another version of wordpress I just upgraded on the same server that has NO problems!

    Now, I did notice that when I change any discussion settings they don’t stick. I mean I they stay selected but they don’t work. For example, I changed “An administrator must always approve the comment ” and comments were still appearing. Which leads me to believe it’s a bigger problem but I don’t know where else to look, especially considering I’ve updated all the files.

    Please, any guidance would be appreciated.

    I have the same problem my blog is setup like this:

    wwww.mydomain.com/blog

    I get no comments email notifications. I have done the update to 2.7 and I have tried the fix listed above.
    Does anybody have a fix for this?
