• This isn’t a WordPress problem, per se, but you folks are the only place I might get an answer to this question.

I use yahoo mail for my primary email. I have my blog set to send me an email whenever there is a comment, etc. The problem is, all the mail from my blog is being detected as spam and sent to my bulk folder. I’m not sure what is triggering the spam filter, but it’s very annoying.

Anyone have any experience with this? Or suggestions on what to do (besides switching email addresses).

I made a filter that searches for the blog name and moves the messages to my inbox. Sort of an anti-filter really. I guess it works. Anyone know why they’re getting tagged as spam in the first place though?

it’s really your email client and how it handles spam… just like sometimes real spam goes into your inbox, there are silly triggers for everything.

my suggestion would be to do the filter that johnrobe mentioned – so that anything coming from that email address, or including the URL or some part of it – goes into your inbox.
