• Hello,

I am using the Genesis theme “Runway”, and I recently noticed that there is no option for a reader to leave a comment. The Theme page does show that option, so I’m wondering if I somehow deleted it, when editing the CSS. I only edited the CSS via the instructions on the “Support” page of the Theme homepage, to allow my blog to show full post format, rather than the “grid” format. I don’t think that should have changed anything for comments, so wondering if maybe the person I hired to install my theme, did something to accidentally cause this?

Can someone help, to let me know if I need to add something back in the CSS to allow comments to be posted? Thank you!!

Here is the theme page, and then here is my direct URL to my blog:

  • I’m sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s vendors.

    Hi Beth,

Thanks, I have contacted them. I have continued to troubleshoot through studio press forms (since I am impatient) and I somehow broke the code for my site. I was replacing something in the function.php (I saved the piece I deleted, just in case), but after saving, it gave me this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘add_filter’ (T_STRING) in /home2/marissam/public_html/wp-content/themes/runway/functions.php on line 57

I cannot get back into the WP Dashboard to get back to the Editor to change it back. What can I do? I am at the point where I need someone to help me to go in and fix this all for me. Are you familiar with this?

    Thank you!
