Comment /Post to Facebook Box Cropped

    After clicking the like button, the Comment/Post to Facebook box is cropped to 71px
    Tracked this in page source code:

    class=”fb_edge_widget_with_comment fb_iframe_widget” fb-xfbml-state=”rendered” href=”*****” width=”etc,etc, colorscheme=”light”><span style=”height: 20px; width: 71px;”><iframe src= etc…..
    “Firebugged” it to 450px and it displayed the full box

    Could this setting be from your Facebook App “api_key=295*********”? It doesn’t look like it’s in not your plugin code.

    Theme – “Nom-Nom” TwentyEleven child theme

    Otherwise the plugin worked – I gave it a “Works” vote

    Sorry I can’t give you a link to the site (can send you the page source code if you like) as plugin doesn’t quite do what I’m looking for… I want to use a Facebook Page as the like URL… (Maybe option to set a fixed URL e.g. website or Facebook Page is an idea for future development) so only tested it briefly

    Hi,

    I know the problem with the cropped box, but I think this is generated by any of facebooks javascript. You can try to fix it with css. Isn’t it working?

    To liking a facebook page is only possible for one time. If you have different contents you want to like, than you can make a download only for one time.

    I did try some CSS mods without success – didn’t have much time to play around. I will install the plugin on a testing site and look at the CSS and Java in more detail. (have to attend do it in spare time)

    You’re right – it is a common problem with FB javascript. Got the same thing with share bars on WordPress and Drupal

    If I can figure this out with your plugin – I can use similar mods for those too ??
