    Sorry for late reply.
To sync the comments between your website and the Facebook Fan page, you need to install our add-on https://www.heateor.com/facebook-comments-moderation and enable Commenting Mirroring feature.

So in what way is this plugin a Facebook Comments plugin if it doesn’t post comments to Facebook without an additional paid add-on??

You can see the feature list at plugin page. Besides that, we need to make money to keep things moving. Sorry, we can’t offer everything for free.

Here is the first item in the feature list:

“Post comment on Facebook timeline along with posting at the webpage”

Does that not mean that comments posted to the WordPress website with this plugin will also be posted to the Facebook timeline? It sure sounds like that’s what it means. And if that isn’t what it means, just what connection does “Fancy Facebook Comments” actually have with Facebook (which is a repeat of my previous question which you didn’t answer)?

The comment showed up immediately on the WordPress site, but it does not show on my Facebook page

This is what you mentioned in the original post. Posting on Facebook Page and Facebook Timeline are two different things.

Yes, the option Also post to Facebook (right below the Facebook Comment box) will post the comment on the Facebook Timeline of the user posting the comment, not on your Facebook page.

I’ve just tested this and it does not post the comment to my Facebook profile (personal, not business). I did also tried it using my business profile since the option was there, that did not work either.

Yes I’ve written more than 6 characters and ticked the box to ask it to do so. That’s actually why I came over here to ask if that box could be ticked by default and the user has to un-tick it, or at least have the option for that?

As for posting a comment to your website, that’s pretty quick and I like the options to edit comments already posted.

Our plugin just places Facebook Comments box at your webpage. The option is part of Facebook’s functionality. You might want to try with some other Facebook account. Please note that the comment should be visible on your timeline after posting.

Sorry, that option can’t be checked by default.
