Comment Reply – moving the #respond div

  • Ok using the wordpress comment system i am creating a guestbook style page, i have two problems with it.

    1. the reply link stays above the children of the comments, I cannot find the code where this is placed anywhere??

    2. When you click reply it moves the whole respond div to the place where you are commenting, which is perfect. Instead of doing that i want to create/show a new div which just has a box and submit button, i don’t like the way the box disappears from the top… again i can’t find the code anywhere!

    if anybody could help me on these 2 things it would be massively appreciated as i’ve been stuck for about 7 hours on this now!
