Comment submits, but redirects incorrectly

  • I’m using the ternCal plugin that (among other things) uses custom post types for events. These event custom posts have /events/ added to their permalinks. So instead of being porccalendar.com/nh-hra/ the post will be at porccalendar.com/events/nh-hra/

    The problem comes in when someone submits a comment. The comment will be submitted, but the user will not be redirected back to the post (with their comment now displayed). Instead, they’ll be directed to something like https://porccalendar.com/events/nh-hra/comment-page-1/#comment-19 or to a 404 page.

    It’s not a theme issue as it happens in any theme including Twenty Ten and Twenty Eleven. It’s clearly a plugin/custom post type issue. And I strongly believe it’s a result of the added /events/ in the permalink.

    Any ideas where I’d go and what I’d do when I get there to fix this problem?
