Comment system not working

  • For some reason my comments system isn’t working.

    A. It only says “Leave a comment” when viewing the index pages, not on single posts.

    B. When I click “Leave a comment” on the index pages it takes me to the post where there’s no option to leave a comment.

    Help!

  • Go to your admin area, click Presentation >> Theme Editor. Then pick Single Post from the list on the right. Do you see <?php comments_template(); ?> anywhere on that page? I’m hoping that part is missing from your template and that’s why the comment form isn’t showing up.

    Awesome…thanks for your help! I’m obviously still learning this stuff…one step at a time.

    If that fixed it, can you mark this “Resolved”? Glad to know that worked.
