I’m perplexed. My WP site finally went live today (www.electrolund.com), and now no comments contain user information — name or URI.

I’m assuming there’s a database table somewhere that is supposed to be writeable by the world for commenting.

The funny thing is, when I was putting the blog together using the backdoor login, all was fine as far as comments go. Something with teh DNS?

    Thanks for any help.

  • Have you checked to see if it’s a problem with your template? Make sure to verify you have all the variables in your comment.php to display all the proper elements you are asking for.

Hmm, yeah, I think you could be right. I just changed themes back to Default, logged out, and noticed that all input boxes were gone! No wonder it doesn’t work.

Now what would that indicate, if they’re broken across themes?
