Comment templates

Hello folks.

I’ve been dicking around with my templates and seem to have lost a key tag for comments. In a nutshell, the comment form does not appear, which means of course that people can’t leave comments on my posts.

Where may I find the default, plain-old templates for WordPress? I’m sure I’ve simply deleted something, and can’t find what it might be.
