Comment with particular url not accepted

  • A reader cannot post a comment at my blog when his BlogSpot address is entered in the “Website” field.

    The Climate Conversation Group – https://www.climateconversation.wordshine.co.nz/ – attracts scores of comments each month without technical difficulties. I mean, WordPress is brilliant!

    Yesterday a reader asked for help. He said his comment was not being accepted. There was no response from WordPress when he clicked “Submit comment” – the page simply reloaded and displayed at the top.

    On investigation I found that deleting his “Website” address or replacing it with the TinyURL version caused WordPress to accept and display his comment. His web site address is:

    https://globalpoliticalshenanigans.blogspot.co.uk/

    Is this part of a campaign against Blogspot? ??

    Can anyone help me understand this?

    I also have a friend with a blog on Blogspot that cannot comment on my blog.

    Her comments go straight to spam, and this is happening only for a couple of days now.

    Is there any solution for this?
