    Hi,
    Thanks for the nice plugin.

In the past I have noticed several times that the comments are no longer displayed. Today I finally found the cause for this.

When I edit a comment in the frontend as admin, all existing comments are updated in the database with comment_post_ID = 0. This makes the comments not visible anymore.

You might want to take a look at this problem. I could always help myself with backups so far, but this is not a permanent solution.
    Thanks in advance!
    Best regards,
    Francis

  • WOW! I thought it’s only me having this problem.
I would never guess wpdiscuz caused it.
I don’t have any idea how to restore my data without losing the newer ones. I only have a full backup of my site.

    Hi Francis, FINDbmx

This isn’t a known issue and I assume that the problem maker isn’t the wpDiscuz plugin but something else is causing this on your websites.

    For all others:
It seems that the another plugin (Tako Movable Comments) caused this behavior in my case. Maybe it helps..

    Thanks to the support team!

I did also have Tako Movable Comments installed on my website. So that might be true.
