Commenter Always Incorrectly Marked as Spam

    I have one commenter who frequently comments on my blog. I know they’re a legit commenter because I know the person in real life.

    But every single time she comments, her comment ends up in the spam filter.

    She’s also an author on the blog!

    I’m completely confused as to why this would happen to her literally every single time.

    Any ideas?

  • She may have been tagged by Akisemet as a spammer at some point. With luck, the issue should resolve itself shortly.

    her name isn’t Viagra is it? that would be an issue…. ??

    Have you looked at the details of the comment to make sure nothing obvious stands out as far being spammy?

    Thanks for the replies guys. Fortunately, her name isn’t Viagra ??

    I’ve sent a message to Akismet (thanks Joseph!) – maybe she’s a wicked spammer when she’s not playing on my blog.
