    Hey @lauriepk

Thanks for using Neve and reaching out.

This might be happening due to plugin conflict. Please deactivate all plugins and see if the issue persists. If not, then please start reactivating your plugins one by one, whilst testing to see if the issue persists until you find the culprit.

Let me know if you still face the same issue, Thank you!

Thank you, I deactivated all the plugins, but the problem persists. I didn’t think it would because I have the exact same plugins on both blogs.

    Any other suggestions?

I just realized that this problem started 3 days ago, with the solution in this thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/image-shows-above-excerpt-not-beside/

When I switch back to the Legacy Skin, the comments look great. But then the original problem is back (on the blog/archive page, the image shows above the excerpt instead of beside it).

How might this be solved, please? Is it possible to have both the comments and the blog/archive page look good? I suspect it is, but I don’t know how ??

I figured it out! For anyone else who has been using Neve for a few years: if you have a Child Theme with a functions.php file that is accessible from the Theme Editor page, there may be code in there that don’t work with the newer versions.

I simply deleted the functions.php file from my Child Theme, and it’s all sorted.

Still hoping for help on my other issue. It’s not the same problem.

    Hey @lauriepk

I am glad to hear that you were able to find the solution on your own and also kind enough to share the solution with community as well.

    Have a great day!
