    Set up the plugin and testing listings…found that the single listing posts are pulling comments randomly from blog posts in the database. I tried (through standard features and plugins) to disable comments as a stopgap, but the WP Job Manager posts are classified as regular posts, not a custom post type, so I can’t shut off comments without disabling them for blog posts as well (which I don’t want to do.

    Thoughts?

  • Stewart, I am interested in this plugin as well. Could you please clarify your comment “pulling comments randomly from blog posts in the database”? Do you mean that comments on other posts are becoming comments on the job posts?

    The jobs post type disables comments – perhaps you can tweak your theme’s single.php to only show comments if they are turned on for the current post.
