Comments After Upgrade To 3.8

    I upgraded my blog to 3.8 and all was fine until I published a new post.
    Comments are enabled, and the comments box appears at the bottom of all posts other than the one which was added after the upgrade.

    Anyone else having the same issue?

  • For what it’s worth I have not seen this problem. Check your server’s error log to see if it recorded something around the time the post went live.

    You could try republishing the post to see what happens (just change the date to any time in the future).

    Are you sure that the post in question has comments enabled on THAT post?

    Hi,
    I thought so but apparently not. So, for anyone else with the same issue, simply make sure that ‘Discussion’ is checked in the screen options (top right of post page – this will display the discussions options for that post on that page) and then check the ‘Allow…’ box.
