#comments anchor | Recent Comments
-
### If I open the URL…
https://www.myserver.com/foobar#comments
…it opens the page, but doesn’t scroll to the comments section, because there is no “comments” anchor id in the page code.
As this is a default id in every wordpress page to reach the comments section, LLfC shouldn’t remove it.
The browser should be able to navigate to the comments id, and then LLfC kicks in to load the comments section.### If the site has a Recent Comments Widget:
The comment links in the widget contain IDs direct to the comment, like id=”comment-518″.
Obviously the browser can’t navigate to that comment, so the page is just shown without any scrolling.a) Would it be possible by some super smart method to open the page, load comments, and scroll to the ID in question?
b) If not, could LLfC just include all comment IDs in the post, so no matter which comment id is requested, the browser has a valid target and would just load the comments section, at least.
id=”comments”
id=”comment-473″
id=”comment-518″
…??
