  • Hi,

    To remove the comment section follow the given below instructions :

    Create a “Child-Theme” first.

    After it copy the “Page.php” file from your “Core Theme”

    directory and paste into your “Child-Theme” directory.

    Now find this line of code

    <?php comments_template(”,true); ?>

    and comment it.

    Save the changes.

    and for the second issue please send me the page URL/Link.

    Thanks

    @charterpilot: Have you got the solutions.

    Thanks

    Ok you have to talk to people like they have never used WordPress before, like me….what the hell is a Child-Theme and how do it do all the stuff you said about the comments? And how do I get rid of the Archive part in each page as well?

    And how do I change the About Guardian, Custom Menu, Recent Posts. I am new to word press and this isn’t exactly the best most intuitive customization theme. Thank you

    Hi Charter,

    I’ve an easier solution for you. Go to the section “pages”, put the cursor above name of the page you want to eliminate comments. Click on fast edition (i see it as “edición rápida” ’cause I use the Spanish version) Select it. Now you have several options, unmark the “allow comments” box and that’s all you need to do.

    HI Nikki6Sixxx,

    Go Admin -> Pages -> Quick-Edit =>> Disable Comments , from the Specific Page.

    Thanks
