    It seems today that comments are closed on all new posts on my blog.

    Was fine yesterday, Ive been using a Facebook comments plugin which works great, and have disabled wp comments.

    I have checked every setting and have disabled all plugins one by one to see if there is a conflict

    I have disabled the Facebook plugin and turned on wp comments but still no joy

    I am using the latest version on wp and WooThemems canvas theme

    Is there something I’m missing here?

  • Check “Allow comments” in the Discussion pane on each Edit Page. If you do not see this pane, click Screen Options at the very top of the page and check “Discussion”.
