  • Hi,

    I have seen some posts about this, but I am not really understanding how to open comments on my site, fsne.org. For all posts it says “Comments are closed.” How do I fix this? I am very new at this, so please, explain in detail. Also, there is no plug-in area, settings or options on my dashboard, so I have no clue what to do. And I see no discussion option on my dashboard or posts.

    PLEASE HELP!

  • Are you logged in with full Admin status?

    Lydia,

    If you don’t have access to plugins, options, or settings, then you may not be the administrator of your WordPress installation. There are various user levels — you may be “contributor” or “author” instead, as defined by the administrator.

    As for opening comments, try editing a post that has comments closed, then look for a box labeled “Discussion” that has two options: “Allow comments” and “Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this page”. The former should be checked to allow comments.
