Comments are missing in mail after upgrade

  • I just updated to 2.2 and everything went smoothly except when someone comments on one of my posts, I get an email as usual but the body is empty. Usually the content says, Author, Email, URL and so forth, but now they are completely empty. The subject is still the same ie: [Petersen Inc.] Comment: “Spock – The People Search Engine”

    I am not using a pluing to get these mails.

    Did anyone else experience this?

    I dont have this problem, but having problems with the comments too (you can check here).

    I think that maybe there’s some problem with the print comments function and the php version used in the host…

    I can add that my host recently updated MySQL to 4.1. Actually the same day I updated to WP 2.2

    This seems to be the same topic as this post.

    I had the same problem and per takbax’s recommendation, I upgraded to the newest WP Database Backup plugin and the problem was fixed. If you have the plugin and are still experiencing blank emails, update it.
