Comments are not displaying anymore!

  • I had a problem – comments didn’t show up at all (after submitting a list of comments just was not there, only “Leave a Reply” field) after posting them (even after approval) so I replaced theme’s comments.php and comment-template.php files in case I messed something up while adding other code. But after replacing these files with originals things got worse – I’m getting a PHP error! The good news is that you can see 2 errors (there were 2 test comment) appear which means that comments should be there once this error is fixed.

    I am using MH Newsdesk Lite but I don’t it is theme’s fault because comments worked a while ago!

    Any help would be extremely appreciated!

  • Try to deactivate all ur plugins. If still not working try to switch to the default wordpress theme

    Comments work with other themes but not with this one! I put so much work in customizing this theme that I would like to not to completely replace all source files..

    You probably have deleted some codes by mistake when u were editing your theme. Try to replace codes page by page until you figure out the problem.

    Have you tried reinstalling the theme you are using? You should not be modifying any theme files in any case – as changes will be erased when the theme is updated anyway. Use a child theme to modify theme files.
