I’m currently running WP 2.9.1, and using the “fancy” theme for my site (https://www.thewhocaresgirl.com). I recently upgraded and my comments disappeared. Now they are visible but only by clicking on the post title–they come up at the very bottom of the screen after 2 extra submit comment forms. I want the “submit comment” button after each post on the main page of my site. Also, how do I get rid of the extra comment boxes?

p.s., I suppose this question should be under “troubleshooting”? I apologize, but I thought it might be a theme problem, I’m not sure!

Update: now the comments button is available on the first page, but when you click on it, it says:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘?’ in /home2/thewhoca/public_html/wp-content/themes/fancy/single.php on line 36

This line in my single.php file is: <?php the_content(‘Read the rest of this entry »'<?php comments_template(); ?>>

How can I fix this??? Help!

Update: blerp, okay I just changed themes, that seems to have resolved my comments issue, because now they are working fine.
