• I am testing a new WP website I’m making. For testing comments, I log out first. Then each time I enter a comment, it says it’s awaiting moderation.
I don’t understand because my settings in Discussion are not asking for that…

Here is a picture of my Discussion settings –> https://fr.yoga-laurence-lhermitte.be/files/2012/12/Discuss_settings-.jpg
The boxes under the picture (that we can fill with text, IP’s, etc) are left empty.

Also these are exactly the same Discussion settings as in 2 of my other WP websites. On those sites, comments don’t await moderation.

    Can someone help ?

Isn’t there anybody who could reply to me ? Please…

Ah, i have the same trouble with you. Am looking for help too. ??

I am having the same trouble and have checked all past posts on moderation in the forum.
I updated to WP 3.6. All plug ins are up to date.
I checked comments and author in the screen section option of each post.
Made sure to keep these two options un-checked: admin always approves comment and comment author must have previous comment.
Added allow comments/allow pings to each post.
In Bulk Action, I edited to allow comments.
I even brought the number of allowed links on a comment up to 7.
My comments are still in moderation. Please help with this. Thanks.

Guys, you are way behind in WordPress versions. Upgrade to 3.6 or risk your installation compromised. WordPress has introduced many security fixes from 3.4.2.

I just installed 3.6. this morning. Will that fix the comment moderation?

If it doesn’t, please post a new topic.
