Comments box only shows in most recent posts

    Hi there everyone,

    I re-designed a blog for a client an all is well execept for the comments section. For some reason comments only show for the most recent 2 blog posts. Once a new blog post is up, the 3rd most recent and older no longer have comment boxes.

    Here are things i have tried:
    1. Disable all plug ins – no affect
    2. Change theme – I am using Divi and have changed it to twenty sixteen theme but still no affect
    3. Ticked all the comment/discussion settings in: theme options, individual posts (top menu), settings options.

  • Hi T,

    If you click on “Settings” and then “Discussion” you’ll see an option that says “Automatically close comments on articles older than X days”. Try unchecking that box, or changing the number in there, and see if that helps?
