Comments didn’t migrate from wordpress.com to new site

  • I recently migrated from my WordPress.com blog to my new site using WordPress’s Export/Import method. It seemed to move everything over fine, but the comments didn’t go. I haven’t made any changes to the site, so I’d be willing to do it again if that helped. Any ideas why they didn’t move?

    Just wanted to update on this — checked in the back end, and the comments are there. They also exist on the post pages. The only place they don’t show are in the comment counts on the main page — every post shows as “No Comments”. Is there any way I can update these to reflect the real numbers?
