comments disappeared

  • I upgraded my main blog from 1.0.2 to 1.2 delta using the nightly build for 5/11 and I’m having some trouble. I’ve got all options set to allow comments, but my blog is ignoring everything related to comments (well almost everything). I’m getting the tag on the home page that links to the comments and it is showing the correct # of comments, but the individual post page doesn’t show the comments or the comment form. It’s as if the include of the comment template never processed. I have renamed my comments template to avoid overriding it when upgrading, but it was working till I upgraded.
    Any suggestions?

  • Since you saved both your wp-comments and the new one, why don’t you substitute the two and see if it works. If so, compare the files and see what the difference is.

    Thanks. I didn’t think about comparing the two. I copied the “working code” from the new template to the old template and it fixed all the problems.
