Comments do not get gravatar if orignally made by wrong account

  • I have a puzzling problem. On my wordpress site, I have:
    * admin account
    * my “personal” account which I associate to articles and comments made by me.

    Comments made by my personal account show gravatar…

    But sometimes I accidently reply to comments using my admin account. Even if I then later edit the comments, so the email address, name etc. everything is 100% the same (of what I can edit) as a comment made by my “personal” account, it simply will not show Gravatar…

    I imagine it is because there’s a database field somewhere associating the blog comment o the admin account, but… well… I am up for ideas. I would like to fix this in my websites. Anyone else experienced this issue?
