Comments Don’t Show After 2.7.1 Upgrade

  • Dear Colleagues:

    I upgraded my WP site to the latest version and now the comments do not show under the post as they had in the past. I have tried tweaking a variety of settings including the “nested levels” of comments which I moved to one thinking this might “force” the display, but no such luck.

    If I go to the permalink page of the article, the comments do show there, but I want them to show when a user first arrives at the site. The comments also show if I click on the “# comments” link at the top of the post as well.

    I switched to one of the default themes and the discussions still did not show except as noted above.

    Any ideas to get the comments to show?
