Comments don’t work with my theme

  • On my wordpress the comments work on all themes except the one I made.

    What happens is when you click “comments” it takes you to the “?p=1#comments” page but all that is there is the layout, header, footer, posted entry, etc – no comments to view, it misses that part out.

    I want to know what the needed codes and pages are for this to work. I must have missed something out.

  • did you create this theme on your own from scratch, or did you modify another theme?

    it just looks like you’re missing the php function call to bring up the comments template…

    I modified another theme (the default one). So what is the php function to call the comments template?

    EDIT: I don’t have a single post page! That’s why isn’t it?
