    Hi,

Sorry for the trouble here… I’ve loaded the site and it’s showing for me.

You’re likely viewing this as a logged-in user so it wont show. The assumption is that logged-in users have already verified themselves with the site and don’t need to go through the rigors of the comment SPAM filter.

Certainly, if you’re using the login protection features of the plugin and user sessions, it’s not likely that logged-in users are going to be the type to be posting spam.
Further, spambots themselves would never be logged-in.

Hope that helps, and sorry for any confusion there! ??

Oh I completely understand the issue with being logged in, which is why I tested it in another browser where I’m not logged in!

I usually use Firefox, so I’ve viewed the site in IE and Safari now, and still I am not seeing the checkbox or the message on the comment button. Further, I was just able to post a test comment to the page without waiting for the delay time to pass, or checking the box. I just checked the site on my iPad as well, and still nothing.

    Not sure how to proceed!

    So this is interesting:

I cleared the cache on my iPad and turned off the WiFi connection, and then visited the page. I now see the checkbox and when I loaded the page I saw the message on the comment button as well.

I’ve cleared the cache in IE and Firefox, yet still see nothing.

At this point, chalking this up to caching issues somewhere I guess!

Sorry to send up the flare–thanks for the quick response and help. ??

Hmm… yea, that sounds like a strange caching issue you’re seeing there. I think you might still be considered logged-in for whatever reason.

Have you white listed your IP address per-chance? That would also knock-off the firewall features for you…

Ha! That’s the issue then, the IP white listing. That would be why I could see everything only after setting my iPad to use the cellular data instead of my WiFi which would obviously use my IP address.

Again, sorry to send up the flare–even more so now that I’ve realized it was just me being dense and forgetting about the IP white listing.

No problem at all… it’s better to ask and check ??
