Comments for tasks

Hmm yeah that’s confusing me too. I actually tried adding a comment to the activity stream, too, but alas it still showed “0 comments”.

You can add comments at the task level. Are you having issues there?

Hello, yes I’m having issues doing that, becouse I just have the “edit” an “erase” option at the task level. I’m using the albee elgee theme, maybe is becouse of that? It is a buddypress theme anyway.

Thank for your help. To have this option, put comments for the task, is really a good help for adm projects.

I have change the theme for the buddypress default theme and still doesn’t shows up the comment option at the task level.

How do I get this option exactly?

can you share a screenshot of your issue? I just tested Elbee Elgee with CollabPress, and had no trouble seeing and adding comments to a task on the front end.

If you click on the link for the task (“Hacer Plan de Accion…”) It will display a page for the specific task, where you can fill out the comment form and view other comments.

I did that but I still not found the comment form.

That is the task edit screen. What theme is this? I just tested on BP default theme, and I’m seeing the comment form there on individual task pages.

I’m using Elbee Elgee Theme, It is assumed that this works well with BuddyPress. I’ll try BP default theme and let you know guys.

Thanks for your help solving this. The issue was in the BuddyPress-specific templates. I’ve updated the plugin to display comments on the BP single task view. Please upgrade to 1.2.3 and confirm it’s working now.
