Comments form and comments link

  • Hi,

    My site is crossroadinnovation.com

    The comments form wont show up.
    Following the advices on similar posts, i tried adding
    <?php comments_template();?> before <?php endwhile; endif; ?> in page.php.
    I also tried changing to Default Theme: The comments box appears.
    What does it mean?

    I came back to my theme, and all the sidebars disappeared, as well as the footer.
    The site is totally out of order now ??

    1st of all, how can I get the site back how it was, and how can i get the enable the comments (the comments are enabled in the Discussion settings)?
