Comments form is not working

  • Hi there,

    My comments form isn’t working on my site https://www.theroastedroot.net/ I have left myself a test comment on the most recent post and when I click on {1 comment}, the comment form shows up but you cannot view the actual comment that was posted. Also, the end } bracket (from the{1 comment} ) goes to the bottom of the comment form when you click on the post. I’m not sure what I did to make the comments not accessible (they aren’t turned off…) but the comments used to work and now they’re not.

    Could it be that you need to moderate the comments before they are published?

    Login to your dashboard and then click on Comments from the sidebar. You will be able to see all your comments and you can then approve them to be published.

    It is a security feature to protect you from people posting their undesireable links and all that.

    Nope, that’s not it…They’re all approved and when you click {3 comments}, it still does not show the comments. Plus, my comments are set to post without approval.

    Any idea why the end bracket on the {3 comments} drops off and moves to the end of the comment form when you click on {3 comments} ?

    It looks like the theme is faulty because the closing bracket is at the end of the comment box: See this picture:

    You are using thesis theme and so you need to contact them. they have experts dealing with these things.
