Comments included in RSS

  • I was checking out a blog for a developer of RSS Bandit and notice that in RSS Bandit the feed displays comments as a subset of a post. The blog in question is here and is powered by newtelligence dasBlog, which was a new one one me.
    This would be a cool tool feature for WP RSS feeds rather than having a separate feed for comments.
    I can post a screenshot if you like.

  • As I understand it, the reason comments get their own feed is that otherwise every new comment will make the original post appear as “new” in most aggregators. That would get annoying to many folks (the WP developers particularly). As such, comments get their own feeds.
