'Comments' Link Not Linking to Comments Section

I just moved my blog off of wordpress.com and am now using the Gridline Lite theme. On the main page, the ‘Comments’ link is not linking to the comments section. It’s only when you click on the post title that you can see the comments appear below the post and can click on the ‘Comments’ link to jump to the comments. Does anyone know how to fix this? I noticed the ‘Comments’ link is not present in the Gridline Lite demo but it’s there when I downloaded it.
