Comments Moderation

Go to Settings/Discussion in your admin panel, scroll down to the “Comment Moderation” area and enter 1 at “Hold a comment in the queue if it contains [x] or more links.”

I entered 1 and the comment did not appear, however there was no message to the end user to say its awaiting moderation the comment disappeared from the front page?

It show in the admin dashboard, but how does the user know if he commented ok? He might think its not worked and keep posting?

Is there a way to show a message “awaiting Moderation”

It’s typically a feature offered by a theme. It’s definitely available in both the Default and Twenty Ten themes. What theme are you using?

Just noticed it still shows the comment when you refresh the page? Even tho the message is in the moderation section withing admin?

I see what happening now !

No message appears such as “Your comment is awaiting moderation”
But if you refresh the page the commentor can see there message.

THis goes in to admin panel for moderation.

Someone on another computer doe not see the message until it is approved.
