Comments no longer appear

  • User comments no longer appear on my site. I have checked the Settings and Jetpack, as well and changed themes and disabled plug ins. Nothing is working.

    Posts with comments show something like this at the bottom of the post: 2 Responses to The View From The Balcony: “Lessons on Grief from Tomatoes and Garden Hoses”

    but the comments are not visible.
