Comments Not Available, Not Displaying on Posts

  • Hello WordPress community,
    I have installed Sketch and cannot get the Comments section to appear at the bottom of my posts. Read through all the solutions posted within this Sketch Forum.

    Things I have tried but still Comments section does not appear:
    1) Disabled ALL plugins

    2) Settings > Discussions >
    a) Allow people to post comments on new articles = Checked
    b) Comment author must fill out name and email = Unchecked
    c) Users must be registered and logged in to comment = Unchecked

    3) When editing my Posts, there is no section at the bottom to enable comments

    4) Tried install ‘Yoast Comment Hack’ plugin in hope that it might create it’s own comments section but nothing appears. .

    Any guidance would be most appreciated.

    try to enable that section by clicking on ‘Screen Options’ near the top right of the ‘edit post’ page, then ticking ‘Discussion’…

    ho100ho, please let us know if Michael’s suggestion does the trick. If you’ve allowed comments on all posts, you should see the comment form on all new posts going forward, but if there were older posts published prior to the change, you’ll need to check the box individually on those posts.

    If you need further help, please provide a link to your site so folks can take a look directly.
