• With the free version comments are being imported into the WordPress database but are not embedded in the comments box in the edit post admin.

If I deactivate the plugin and revert to the WordPress comment system, there are no comments to be seen.

If the comments are not embedded into the individual posts, then I question whether the plugin has any SEO value at all?

Another thing I have noticed is that after importing comments, the check box “Also post on Facebook” disappears and is replaced by “Your comment may also appear on ……’s Facebook Page”.

This is a serious problem because it doesn’t allow new commenters to post the comment on their Facebook page.

I am seriously interested to upgrade the free version, but am concerned that the above problems might also exist in the PRO version.

I can send you some links to our website if that would help.

Has something changed in the last couple of days?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello,

Let me try to answer on all your questions :). I’m not 100% sure what do you consider under comment box, but our plugin is created to import comments from facebook page/group to the native wordpress comment system. All imported comments are actually saved in database, and after import if you use WordPress comments system comments should be under the post (don’t forget to check that comments are approved).

Another thing I have noticed is that after importing comments, the check box “Also post on Facebook” disappears and is replaced by “Your comment may also appear on ……’s Facebook Page”.

I’m really not sure what is this, our plugin even don’t have such functionality. Can you maybe take a screenshot, I believe this is something that comes from some another plugin.

btw, for all questions related to PRO version please contact us by email, since this form is only for free version.

    Hi Ivan

We are using the plugin “Facebook Comments” as the commenting system on our website in combination with your plugin “Facebook Comments Importer”.

Your plugin really does import all of the comments posted on the comments box of “Facebook Comments” to the WordPress database.

If we check “Comment Status Approved” on your plugin, the comments are imported into the database as “approved”.

Similarly if we check “Comment Status Not Approved” on your plugin, the comments are imported into the data base as “not approved”.

However neither “approved” nor “not approved” comments are not visible in the native WordPress comment system. This is the basic problem we are having.

I would gladly send you a screenshot but this form has no facility for attachments.

How can we make the imported comments visible in the WordPress native comment system?

If I can get your plugin to work I will definitely be upgrading to the PRO version.

    Thanks for your great support.

I have the same problem, the commments doesn’t show up! :/
