Comments not Paginated

  • Hi !
    I have changed the Comments settings to display 10 comments per page in the Discussion Settings page. But it doesn’t seem to work.
    Any help guys !

    I have activated these 2 options;

    Enable threaded (nested) comments levels deep
    Break comments into pages with comments per page and the page displayed by default

    Comments should be displayed with the comments at the top of each page

  • Does your theme’s comments.php template file use wp_list_comments()? If not, this may explain the lack of pagination.

    No it doesn’t.

    How do i disable the theme comments template and override this with wordpress default theme template. If i copy comments.php from Default theme , will it work?

    It should work but I’d make a copy of your current comments.php file first (perhaps name the copy comments-old.php).
