Comments not showing and same comment on every post

  • Using wp 3.0.1 and thesis 1.8. I did an import from typepad, and the first time I imported (onto a dev machine), I got all comments, and everything worked fine. Then moved onto the live machine and did another import. The comments are still all there, I can see them in the admin panel, and they are still associated with their posts as they should be, in the admin panel.

    But, on the posts themselves, pretty much none of the comments are showing at all. Except there are 1 or 2 comments that are showing, and these same comments show up on every single post.

    I’ve disabled comments for now so I can’t show, but first off if you have any suggestions or clues, I would greatly appreciate.

    probably a plugin is messing up.
    try:

    -deactivating all plugins. if that resolve the problem, then activate them one-by-one to find the cause.

    -switch to the default theme (Twenty Ten) to rule out theme spceific issue.

    I have tried deactivating all plugins and it didn’t resolve the problem.

    I set to Twenty Ten theme, which did fix the issue. Now…any ideas of what could have gone wrong in Thesis to cause this issue?

    I finally fixed it. I had a custom function that I was putting in that was conflicting. I just moved the thesis hook to after_content and then it works.
