Comments not showing up

    Hello,

    I am having trouble with comments showing up on my website. I have enabled comments via my Discussion > Allow comments on my WordPress dash board.However, the comment section for people to comment does not show up anywhere on my site.

    Another thing that is strange, is that when I post some of the wrods I have written come up as comments, and are asked to be approved. For example, on the linked page I have provided “Want to see more waterfalls? Check out our blog on Munduk Waterfall Route in Bali | 9 Amazing Waterfalls” near the top of the page comes through as a comment. Asking to be approved. Really confusing.

    I have put it down to the OceanWP theme I am using.

    Can anyone help me with this please?

  • Hello,

    You are using the Elementor full-width template, therefore, it is not working. Try to use the Default template And set 100% full-width template + Disable margin from the OceanWP settings metabox > Main tab (edit a post/page without elementor to see these settings).

    Thank you for your help. This worked, however, I have the meta data (author, date, category and comments) showing. I think this is the reason I went full width template before.

    Do you know how to completely remove this information but at the same time keeping the comments visible?

    Do you want to hide it for all the post? If yes, then go to Customize > Blog > Single Posts – Elements positioning and click on the eye icon of the ‘Meta’ element to disable it.
