    Hi – I just want to say I love your theme. I am however having difficulty with the comments showing up in the posts. I have tried every possible combination I can think of and still not comments. I even called my hosting site to help me and they logged in and said it was the theme – I find this hard to believe because I have read through and there was only one issue like this previously posted and it was an easy fix – which I tried and it did not work for me. Could you please let me know what I am doing wrong? I appreciate your feedback.

    website is https://www.ballyhoomg.com

    I know this is a really dumb question but have you got comment moderation turned on? I.e. do you have to verify comments before they’re actually displayed on the site?

    Dashboard -> Settings -> Discussion:

    Before a comment appears:
                             Comment must be manually approved
                             Comment author must have a previously approved comment

    I apologise if you’ve already done this?

    Thanks for the feedback and yes – I have tried this – and nothing.

    I think I’m going to try and delete the theme and reload it. I did try a different theme and perhaps something got broken in the process. I;m just afraid that I will lose everything.

    OK, and ‘Allow Comments’ is checked within the Post Edit screen? That option should appear under the editor.

    You won’t lose your content, just your theme – but be sure to make a backup just in case.

    I think you might be experiencing an issue (my fault) that I did on the last 2.0.7 version. The problem is that the WordPress team has not released my newer updated version which fixes the comment issues. It’s version 2.0.8 now. If you contact me from my website, I can send you the updated version for you ??

    Thanks to @StyledThemes for stepping in – you’re the best person to talk to after all…I tried!

    But your current version is available here.

    No worries… yes, I see the version available there. Unfortunately it should be 2.0.8 on the theme page as the latest. However, hopefully the 2.0.8 fixes your comments.

    @bangkoor…contact me from my site and I will send you version 2.0.8

    Hmmm…same issue only with SmallBiz2 theme. And when I ‘try on’ new themes it looks like I will lose EVERYTHING. Someone PLEASE suggest the BEST, MOST SECURE theme for a small business (author and coach). And preferrably one that the comments show up on, and one that the subscribe buttons can be activated on! So Tired.
    Oh, and one which places my subscribers into wherever it is they are supposed to go in order to actually receive what they are subscribing to. My subscribers end up in FEEDBACK along with the Spam.
    Oh geez. Now I see i have landed in a specific theme park, and not where I started out….
